PPS has developed the Lo-g system to replace existing multi-part packaging for laptop computers with one easy-to-use, cost-effective, single-part pack.
1. Lo-g-pax engineered specifically to suit any laptop, developed and
ready for product
2. Laptop housed in position, possibly using robotic handling arms
3. Pack is then closed around the product
4. Laptop now totally cocooned in its protective packaging, prior to
final click lock
5. Pack click-locked and awaiting either a sleeve or carton to ship
6. The pre-packed ancillary clamshell has a negative cavity arrangement
that locates on the positive Lo-g-pax absorption turrets
7. The pre-packed clamshell will hold leaflets, manuals, connections and
plugs in tailored cavities – material can be clear if required
8. Corporate identity and any other text detail can be embossed. Robotics
easily utilised. The ancillaries clamshell will have its own impact absorption
features and will locate and nest on top of the Lo-g-pax
9. Clampack locates in position and complete pack ready for a wrap-around
sleeve or a thin gauge printed carton
10. Pack loaded into the sleeve allowing the positive protrusions to
locate into negative cavities on the underside
11. Pack loaded into carton – top clamshell can be clear to allow
contents to be seen
